U&I Label opens pop-up w/friends for summer

December 19, 2023 BY

All U&I's pieces are sustainably and ethically made, using 100 per cent regenerated nylon for the swim, and dead-stock fabrics for the apparel.

LOCAL swim and apparel brand U&I Label has opened a pop-up with friends next to Swell Cafe in Jan Juc.

The space is housing a curated collection of brands such as Regina Middleton Jewellery, Winki Zinc, Glide Fins and art by Jessi Rebel and Bohie.

You will find a mix of apparel, swimwear, jewellery, art, ceramics and skincare products, just to name a few.

The mission behind U&I Label and the space is to build your sustainable wardrobe and now also to support other local and conscious brands.

They are now open most days from 10am until January 7.

With each stitch inspired by the power of the ocean, U&I Label’s mission is to create women’s surf culture, promote slow fashion, and protect our planet.

By helping reduce the environmental impact of wardrobes, their goal is to unite water women across the globe to protect our coastal playgrounds and start conversations both in and out of the water to create positive change.

Produced in limited runs, all U&I’s pieces are sustainably and ethically made, using 100 per cent regenerated nylon for the swim, and dead-stock fabrics for the apparel, rescued and recycled before it ever got the chance to make it to landfill.

U&I’s apparel is a tribute to a life centred around the ocean.

Effortlessly moving from land to sea, their styles speak to those who seek adventure: the surfer, the mama, the marine biologist, the free-diver, the captain, the protectors, the explorers, and the everyday woman who has a connection to the sea.

Think the ultimate bed to beach styles with a hint of ’70s surf vibes that will take you from dawn patrols into the night.

Make sure to visit the girls in Jan Juc and support local this Christmas.

The U&I Label Pop-up is at Village 16, Princes Terrace, Jan Juc.
