“The May market provides the perfect place to shop for unique Mother’s Day gifts, from handmade soaps and body oils, local wines, olive oil and cheeses, cacao, candles and jewellery, to bespoke items like handcrafted ceramic vases, unique homewares, upcycled clothing, local artwork and designer bags,” market administrator Fay Valcanis said.

“Come along on 3 May and scan the QR code on site for the chance to win this amazing hamper, full of luxurious local items for your mum.

The market features 70 stalls that sell goods that are either homegrown, handmade, recycled, vintage or as local as possible.

“Gather at the market with family and friends in beautiful Aireys Inlet to enjoy live music, great coffee and delicious street food, before exploring other attractions in town like the Split Point Lighthouse, walking trails, the gallery and more,” Valcanis said. “Make a day of it.”

The Mother’s Day hamper prize includes a Best in Show Photography gift voucher for a photoshoot experience with your favourite pet, valued at $375, as well as an Otway Flower Farm $100 gift voucher.

The market is on Sunday 3 May from 9am to 1pm at the Aireys Inlet Community Hall – the perfect time to shop ahead of Mother’s Day. The competition will be drawn at 1pm on the day. The winner will be notified.

Entry to the Mother’s Day hamper competition will only be available at the market by scanning a QR code on site on the day.
