OPSM Waurn Ponds has relocated to a larger more innovative space in the Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre and celebrated with local ophthalmologists, GPs and longstanding patients. Owner and optometrist Rowan Prendergast said the launch party, which took place on April 7, was a fantastic way to showcase the new shop. “Our innovative store design is a brand-new concept in Australian optometry. We’ve invested in revolutionary cross-sectional retinal imaging and dry-eye analysis, which enables us to provide deeper eye care than ever before,” Mr Prendergast said. “I’m thankful for the loyalty of our customers, which has enabled us to grow into this beautiful space especially as 2018 marks our first decade in the community.” Guests enjoyed fantastic catering by Torquay’s “the cracker collective”, which specialises in grazing tables for any occasion using handmade crackers with natural ingredients.
