Aireys ready to rock
THE Aireys Inlet Music Festival has landed a top lineup to help soar it to new heights for its 20th anniversary edition.
Three days of live music will take over the coastal town from March 13 to March 15, promising a diverse blend of acts.
This year’s lineup includes Mess Hall, Ella Thompson, The Meanies, Sarah Carroll, Nick Barker & The Reptiles, 1960s inspired groovers The Rumours, and local acts Sweethearts, De Porsal and Beachnicks.

There will also be a special solo didgeridoo performance by Wadawurrung man Barry Gilson at sunset on the Friday evening.
Festival committee member Ed Prendergast said Aireys Intel was proud to be hosting an affordable annual event for all to enjoy.
“This is year 20 and we are so thrilled to get it to this huge milestone. It’s been a huge community volunteer effort, with our team motivated to put on something for all music lovers.

“The lineup is broad, there’s something for everyone. The Meanies will go pretty hard, Nick Barker & The Reptiles are rebirthed, Sarah Carroll is well known down on the coast, and Bob Long III will also be a party starter.
“We will have both dance music mixed in with the roots sort of category where not everything comes at you 100 miles an hour.”
Mr Prendergast said the attendance of the festival continues to grow every year.
“We get really support from the Surf Coast and Melbourne, and the last three years in particular have been really good.
“It seems to be really well entrenched down here in the community.”
Tickets are now on sale.
