Anglesea trail run gets revamp for 2025
ANGLESEA will again feature as part of Victoria’s Trail Running Series with tweaked and improved courses.
The second event of the annual series starts on the beach and explores a range of coast and hinterland trails.
There will be 28km, 15km, 8km and 4km courses in the event on July 6.
Rapid Ascent event director Sam Maffett said he was pumped to open entries.
“We’re excited to continue evolving and delivering off-road races that our trail running community loves.
“Watching runners challenge themselves, connect with nature, and share in the spirit of trail running is incredibly rewarding.”

Blackwood, in Lerderderg State Park, is the new location for 2025 and will start the series on June 1.
The three-race series, first held in 2011, finishes in Silvan in the Dandenong Ranges on August 3.
Participants can sign up for all three races and receive a range of series benefits or choose the races that best suit.
