March 27, 2019 BY

One of the biggest breakfasts on the Geelong Calendar returns to The Pier June 6, with former editor-in-chief of Vogue Australia Kirstie Clements leading the conversation; the event raises money for the Give Where You Live Foundation.

Best-selling author and former editorin- chief of Vogue Australia, Kirstie Clements, will lead the conversation at a Geelong business breakfast taking place at The Pier on June 6.

The BTS (Business Technology Specialists) Admin Professionals Breakfast is held annually and attracts over 500 Geelong professionals, who share a meal while raising valuable funds for the Give Where You Live Foundation (GWYLF).

Speaking on career, reinvention and resilience, Kirstie Clements is a best-selling author, editor, journalist, consultant and newly appointed features director for Harper’s Bazaar.

With extensive experience in the industry spanning over 25 years, Kirstie will share the details of her exhilarating professional journey; from receptionist to editor-in-chief of one of fashion’s most renowned magazine, Vogue Australia.

GWYLF chief executive officer Bill Mithen said the foundation aimed to raise in excess of $40,000 this year to support the community’s most vulnerable people.

“Every year the BTS Admin Breakfast is a fantastic event. We are really excited to welcome Kirstie to Geelong and hear her
story, while also raising funds for those who are experiencing disadvantage.”

Last year’s special guest was renowned journalist Tracey Spicer, who wowed audiences with her humour and accomplishments working as a writer, speaker and trainer in journalism and television.

This year’s breakfast will be hosted by Samantha Krajina (Geelong Women in Business and bay 93.9’s The Catch Up) and is an incredible opportunity for Geelong professionals to come together for a good cause.

Everyone is welcome. Tickets for the breakfast can be purchased for $65 or corporate tables of 10 are available for $600 at givewhereyoulive.com.au or by phone on 5229 4364.
