MORE than 350 special vehicles and motorbikes will line the Torquay Esplanade next weekend for the Torquay Rotary Motor Show.
The 16th edition of the Rotary Club of Torquay event will be held on February 8, with attendance expected to soar into the thousands.
As in previous years, all proceeds from the event will be put back into local and broader community projects of which Rotary assist.

Cars and bikes will be judged in 24 categories, with sponsors providing trophies to each winner. For a second straight year there will also be a People’s Choice prize of a $1,000 Helloworld travel voucher.
There will be a huge range of display vehicles spanning all generations, samples from local food vendors, and for the first time, the opportunity to ride in a sports car.

Attendees can take a ride in a Lamborghini Huracan STO, Porsche GT3 RS, Ferrari F8 Tributo or McLaren 750S Spider.
Torquay Rotary Motor Show convenor Trevor Hall said months of hard work had been leading up this exciting occasion.
“We’ve been going since July or August to get the pieces all together. There’s a committee of nine of us who have put a serious amount of work into getting sponsors and setting it all up.

“Each year we try to present something unique and this year fingers crossed we will have a 100-year-old Bentley joining us. We will have a great selection on offer for all to see. We will have everything from vintage cars, to some the latest as well as old hot rods.”
