December 19, 2018 BY

The Moonlight Cinema at The Point on Friday January 4 is a great way to bring the community together and kick off the first weekend of 2019.

MOVIE lovers can pack their picnic rugs and enjoy a family favourite under the stars at the fifth annual Moonlight Cinema at The Point in Point Lonsdale.

Presented by Moremac Property Group, The Point Moonlight Cinema will host a free, open-air screening of Walt Disney’s animated superhero film Big Hero 6 on Friday January 4.

Secure your prime position on the lawn at The Point and choose from a range of classic movie snacks, with vendors selling treats such as popcorn, ice cream and fairy floss.

Movie buffs looking for a meatier option can enjoy the community sausage sizzle and sip on a soft drink. Moremac Property Group project director Bryce Moore said the outdoor cinema experience was a great activity to bring The Point community together and kick off the first weekend of 2019.

“Now in its fifth year, our Moonlight Cinema event has become a tradition that locals look forward to each year,” Mr Moore said.

“It’s the perfect way to catch up with one another after the busy Christmas period, as well as a chance to meet new neighbours in the area.

“We’re excited to continue the family spirit of the holiday season with this family favourite.

“We’re confident this film will charm kids, teens and adults alike.”

Tickets are free but must be acquired prior to the event.

To secure your tickets, or for more information, visit the Land Sales Office located at 2281-2303 Bellarine Highway, Point Lonsdale, or phone estate manager Nick Grace on 0427 257 712.
