Reverend Stephen Copland from St Wilfrid’s Anglican Church in Mount Duneed will welcome all creatures great and small this Sunday at the church’s annual Blessing of the Animals service.

The event is popular among local animal lovers and drew a crowd of about 50 different pets in 2018, including a horse (seen here), some rabbits and many dogs.

The service will also include a pet photo competition and prizes.

The Blessing of the Animals service at the church in Lower Duneed Road (just to the east of the Surf Coast Highway roundabout) will begin on Sunday, October 6 at 11am.
