April 10, 2022 BY

Flying Brick Cider House is teaming up with the North Bellarine Film Festival to present the Art House Films & Feast.

To be held on Thursday, April 21, the evening will include an exclusive screening of seven dynamic Australian and international short films alongside a four-course dining experience at the popular Bellarine venue.

Tickets will also include a complimentary drink on arrival (wine, beer, cider or soft drink).

Flying Brick co-owner and director of hospitality Lyndsay Sharp said the entire Flying Brick team was excited to host such a wonderful event.

“It’s a privilege to be in a position to showcase and support the arts industry in a small way as we collectively focus on recalibrating, recovering and looking towards a more positive future,” Ms Sharp said.

She said the event was guaranteed to please both film lovers and foodies alike, with art house film enthusiasts having the opportunity to be immersed in the brilliance of some of the world’s most talented up-and-coming filmmakers.

“The films have been especially curated by the North Bellarine Film Festival committee for the event and are as diverse as they are engaging,” Ms Sharp said.

“Patrons will cross frontiers of humour, wisdom, dysfunction and inspiration.”

The menu for the night, presented by Flying Brick head chef Josh Reader and the talented culinary team, includes options such as a chorizo and manchego croquette, grazing board to share, teriyaki duck leg or Huon salmon, and a tempting coffee granita for dessert.

The evening begins at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Tickets cost $85 per person which includes seven short films (screening time of 65 minutes), four-course meal, a complimentary drink and drinks at bar prices.
