GEELONG’S AFL flag aspirations – already high after the Cats finished the 2022 season as minor premiers – have been further buoyed by another solid sign – a three-metre high GO CATS piece of heavy metal barracking along the Surf Coast Highway in Armstrong Creek.

Developer Villawood Properties has installed the letters at its Armstrong Mount Duneed estate to help urge the Cats to premiership glory, which will ideally start with a Qualifying Final victory in the clash with Collingwood this Saturday, September 3.

The Cats-Magpies game at the MCG is shaping up as one of the most exciting of the finals series. With a combined 24 wins from their past 25 games, both teams’ form and confidence is running high.
