GORCC seeks feedback on Surf Coast projects

January 16, 2019 BY

The Great Ocean Road Coast Committee is consulting on its Coastal Marine Management Plan.

THE Great Ocean Road Coast Committee (GORCC) will be out on the foreshore for a summer of input into various projects along the Surf Coast.

The team will be consulting on issues and opportunities for its Coastal Marine Management Plan, which helps shape management of the coast from Point Impossible through to Cumberland River.

GORCC will also be consulting on:
• Lorne Foreshore Master Plan
• Erskine Paddock Landscape Plan
• Point Impossible to Jan Juc Master Plan
• Taylor Park Master Plan
• Anglesea Family Caravan Park Master Plan.

GORCC chair Ken Northwood said community input and knowledge were critical to the future management of the coast.

“We’re progressing a number of plans this summer while everyone is out enjoying the coast to maximise opportunities for input.”

He said the plans will help to direct future investment into the coast.
