Grass isn’t always green in Lorne

January 25, 2018 BY

The inaugural Festival of Colours held at Lorne Foreshore saw more than 500 people in attendance to throw colour in the air and celebrate the human spirit with friends and family.

It was the first time the event had been held at Lorne, with another Festival of Colours to be held at Barwon Park Mansion, located at 105 Inverleigh Road, Winchelsea on February 25.

Festival event manager Keshava Dasa said the Festival of Colours at Lorne ran smoothly, with everyone coming away with a positive experience.

“There was a great atmosphere throughout the day; it was very festive,” Keshava said.

To attend the Winchelsea event, head to eventbrite.com.au and search for “Festival of Colours 2018”.

The coloured powders are available for purchase at $5 each or three packets for $10.
