Kids Art Bash returns to colour Anglesea
LOCAL children will flock to Anglesea Art House over the next three weeks as the long-running Kids Art Bash returns for its 27th year.
The popular holiday program invites young creatives of all ages to dive into hands-on projects of their choice, from painting on canvas, t-shirts, wooden shapes and china to ceramic art, mosaics, air-dry clay modelling and crafting dreamcatchers, jellyfish and spiders.
Families can also pick up “art to go” activity bags to complete at home.
Anglesea Art House president, Jennifer O’Sullivan, said anticipation was building for the beloved community event.
“It’s come around really quickly, but we are excited for the fun times ahead.
“It continues to be a great community event and a major fundraiser for Anglesea Art House. To be closing in on 30 years of running it makes us very proud. We can’t wait to see all the children and the big smiles on their faces.”
Children must be accompanied by an adult or carer.
The Kids Art Bash runs daily until January 23, from 10am to 4pm.
Drop-in sessions range from $3 to $25 depending on the activity, and no bookings are required.
