Leisure Networks elect new CEO

DISABILITY and support organisation Leisure Networks has appointed experienced healthcare senior leadership executive David Meade as their new chief executive officer.

Mr Meade brings more than 15 years of health-sector management experience in both Australia and the United Kingdom to his new role.

He is a “values based and ethical leader, who prioritises leading by example, driving accountability and value-based decision making over all else”.

Mr Meade previously held the position of executive director health services collaborations at the Victorian Department of Health.

He also spent over four years in a series of roles at Barwon Health including director of clinical support, co-director of community health, rehabilitation and palliative care/director allied health and program director rehabilitation/director allied health.

Leisure Networks said “his unique blend of skills and experience in both strategic and operational roles, makes David well-equipped to lead [the] organisation into a thriving and sustainable future”.

Leisure Networks chair, Paul Chow, welcomed Mr Meade and congratulated him on his appointment.

“We believe David possesses the vision and leadership qualities needed to guide our organisation towards continued growth and success.”

Mr Meade will commence his CEO role on December 4, 2023.
