It’s logical to love nature with Eco-Logic

December 28, 2017 BY

ECo-Logic on the Surf Coast has been taking families, adults and kids out into the environment since 1996; and a couple of staff who loved Eco-Logic as kids, have even come back to work for the business.

Based in anglesea and founded by a Park ranger and Marine Naturalist, Eco-Logic began at a time when no one else was really doing or exploring the idea of environmental education on the Surf Coast.

Today, Eco-Logic offers a wide variety of fun activities allowing customers to access and explore the area’s ecosystems.

Eco-Logic has an excellent safety record and employs locals who are highly qualified, passionate, and happy to share their knowledge of the area.

Activities on offer include snorkelling, standup paddle boarding, rock-pool rambles, canoeing, fossil safaris, bush ranger sessions, spotlight walks, estuary discoveries and sessions that focus on bush tucker. During the school term, bookings are a large part of the business, with all sessions available as well as more curriculum focused programs. In January, it’s all about the holidaymakers.

Sharon Blum-Caon has been the manager at Eco-Logic for the last seven years and has enjoyed being part of the local business.

“I really enjoy getting people to look underneath the waves on the Surf Coast to see what’s there, or cruise around anglesea river by paddle board, discovering the plants and wildlife,” Sharon said.

“If we can get people to love these wild places like we do, and understand them better, hopefully we can all look after them for future generations to enjoy.”
