Nippers take to Bancoora

Bancoora Beach hosted 1,455 competitors at Life Saving Victoria’s nippers carnival on January 19, with many local children heading down to test their skills and score a win.
The carnival was a qualifying event for the 2019 Junior State Lifesaving Championships in both the Board Rescue and Iron events.
The top 16 competitors in the Board Rescue race and 28 competitors in the Iron race, including four wildcards from each, were selected to represent their clubs at the State Championships in Lorne on February 23-24.
