Powerlines relocated near Winchelsea

WORK has begun to relocate powerlines and property boundary fences along the Princes Highway between Winchelsea and Colac. Power poles and lines are being relocated between Armytage and Warncoort in preparation for duplication works. Activities will involve installing new power poles further away from the highway and removing the existing poles. Just over 300 trees of various sizes will be removed or trimmed. Access along the Princes Highway will be maintained at all times, and VicRoads says it is expecting minimal impact to traffic as the contractors will be working away from the road.
