THE Melbourne Renegades will return to Geelong later this month with their popular school holiday cricket programs.

Two separate camps will be offered for children aged seven to 10, both to be held at the Geelong Cricket Ground in Kardinia Park and delivered by Australian Cricket–accredited coaches.

Running from 9am to 3pm, the camps are designed to help young players build their cricket skills while growing confidence in a fun, supportive environment.

Participants will take part in a range of supervised, team-based activities throughout the day, including cricket drills and obstacle courses, with a focus on developing motor skills, teamwork, problem-solving and leadership.

Some Melbourne Renegades players are expected to attend across the camps, giving participants the chance to pick up tips and insights from Big Bash stars.

Children who attend the program will have access to a range of added perks, including a 10 per cent sibling and “bring a mate” discount, exclusive giveaways and the chance to win prizes. Camp tickets also include a two-game Big Bash League (BBL) membership.

The camps build on the Renegades’ recent presence in Geelong, where the club opened the BBL season with two matches at GMHBA Stadium against Brisbane and Hobart.

Locals Oliver Peake and Callum Stow are also key players in the side, with their development through the Geelong system playing an important role in their progression to the BBL level.

The first camp will be held on Wednesday, January 14, with the second taking place on January 21. For more information, head to melbournerenegades.com.au/schoolholidaycamps
