Santa arrives in Torquay

GET ready to welcome the festive season as Santa makes a spectacular, once-off visit to Woolworths Torquay later this month, arriving in a unique ride.

On Monday, December 22, Santa will be ditching the sleigh for the morning and arriving in a festive Christmas-decorated Mini Moke, driving through the streets of Torquay before making his grand entrance at the Bristol Road store.

This is a free meet and greet event. All local customers, families and children are warmly invited to come down to the store during the hour-long visit, between 11am and noon, to meet Santa, share their Christmas wishes and capture a memorable photo.

“We are thrilled to bring a bit of extra Christmas magic to the Torquay community this year,” Torquay Woolworths store manager Zoe Brown said.

“Santa’s arrival in the Mini Moke is sure to be a fun spectacle, and we look forward to welcoming everyone in-store for a very special, festive experience.”
