Small Business Bus heads to Torquay

February 20, 2020 BY

EXISTING and aspiring small business owners will have the chance to get some free expert advice when the Small Business Bus rolls into town on February 27.

The state government-led initiative will see the bus transport several small business mentoring specialists to different townships. These specialists will provide advice in marketing, finance, human resources and sales.

Minister for Small Businesses Adam Somyurek said the specialists will be able to offer help to a variety of people.

“Regardless of whether you’re thinking about starting a small business or are already well established, the Andrews Labor Government’s Small Business Bus will be there to help you grow and thrive.”

Last year 1,176 small businesses used the bus’s on-board mentoring.

South Barwon MP Darren Cheeseman said the Small Business Bus had proved an important tool for growing small businesses.

“This program plays an important part in providing Victorians with greater access to government support services.”

The bus will be located near Woolworths Torquay, on the corner of Bristol Road and Walker Street.

The bus will also be in Apollo Bay on Wednesday, February 26.

It will then visit Drysdale on April 21, Anglesea on April 22 and Lorne on April 23.

It will be open from 10am-4pm.
