Taylor Henderson to play in Geelong this weekend

November 14, 2018 BY

Taylor Henderson has released his first single (titled Love Somebody) since 2016.

REALITY music star and multiplatinum Australian artist Taylor Henderson is back on the music writing wagon, releasing his first single for 2018 titled Love Somebody off the back of his national tour of the same name.

The talent was first brought to our attention almost eight years ago on the fourth season of Australia’s Got Talent, in which he claimed third place.

In 2013, Henderson made a reappearance on our national television screens, trying his luck for the top spot on The X Factor Australia.

Though he didn’t win, his runner-up title saw him quickly shoot to national stardom.

Over the last five years, Henderson has produced two studio albums. His self-titled album Taylor Henderson – which featured his massive hit Borrow My Heart – was released in 2013, while his second record Burnt Letters hit the streets less than 12 months after the release of his debut album.

His trademark vocals in alignment with his bubbly personality has contributed to Henderson’s growing popularity, reasons why he was so successful on reality TV.

Taking some time away from producing new music has paved the way for a new-found honesty in his artistry, a hopeful turning point in his career.

Continuing his tour for what’s left of the year, Henderson is slowly making his way back into the public eye to show fans how he’s improved on his storytelling craft and acoustic renditions of his songs.

Gearing up to play in his hometown of Geelong this Saturday November 17 at the Workers Club alongside special guest and triple j Unearthed Queenscliff Music Festival winner Libby Steel, Henderson is excited to be back doing what he loves.
