The Beach Hotel reopens for takeaway

April 18, 2020 BY

After closing its doors to the public, a publican and his team couldn’t be happier to be rolling out their famed food and drinks to the community via takeaway.

Jan Juc’s The Beach Hotel has reopened its doors and is offering their menu as a takeaway option for the community after closing due to coronavirus restrictions.

The Beach Hotel’s menu includes more than 10 parmigiana varieties, roasts, ribs, steaks and burgers, as well as calamari, salads, salmon and pasta. Staff at The Beach Hotel will cook up your meal with love every Wednesday to Sunday from 5-8 pm, while hungry tradies can check out the Ladies and Tradies Lunch menu and get their takeaway pub-meal fix on Fridays.

Owner James Collins said he couldn’t be happier to be able to provide an adapted service to his customers and have his staff back on board thanks to the federal government’s JobKeeper program.

“The community support has been amazing, so many people reached out when we closed about a month ago just to see if there was anything they could do to help. It’s been fantastic,” he said.

“The support from the local footy clubs, Jan Juc Boardriders Club, Jan Juc Cricket Club, and the community spirit, it’s been great.”

If you’re hankering for a pint, The Beach Hotel is one of the many hotels that is taking part in Carlton United Breweries (CUB) for the Love of Your Local campaign. You can buy a beer voucher to use at The Beach Hotel, which CUB will match, pint for a pint. When your beloved local reopens, you can redeem your vouchers and soak up Jan Juc’s finest atmosphere.
