Bellarine real estate business Pavilion Property has expanded its customer service with the opening of a new office in Drysdale.

Pavilion Property partner Jack Cassin said the change reflected new customer sentiment on the Bellarine, with buyers increasingly shifting their gaze away from traditional property hotbeds.

“In the past you’ve had your Ocean Grove buyers and then you had your Clifton Springs, Drysdale buyers who have been in two different markets. We’ve found that they’re starting to merge a bit more,” he said.

“Ocean Grove will always have that attraction, but it’s expensive and so busy. Now we are finding buyers are seeing more value and a great lifestyle over in Clifton Springs and Drysdale.

“We just thought it was a no brainer to have those two offices and be able to have our Ocean Grove and our Drysdale agents all work together.”

Mr Cassin said Pavilion had already built a healthy reputation in northern Bellarine which he hoped strengthen further.

“People have just been keen to see something new to the area,” he said.

“The results that we’ve had so far have been selling [homes] quicker than the average days on market

“We’re not just putting them on the internet and sitting back and hoping the phone rings, we’re getting stuck in and calling the buyers.”

Pavilion has co-located its new Drysdale service with local mortgage broker Joti Financial.

Joti director Kim Bradbury said she was confident the ongoing relationship between the two businesses would continue delivering strong results for each of their clients.

“We’re not tied in any way, but we certainly are here to help each other and our clients.”

The new office at 10/15 Hancock Street, Drysdale is now open, with final touches including branding expected to be finalised this week.
