Melbournians to continue to drive ‘Seachange’

October 29, 2020 BY

More than 95 per cent of Seachange Estate blacks have sold with Brandon Pulford, Ross Closter, and Trevor McManus happy with the estate’s progress.

All construction works are now complete at Seachange Estate in St.Leonards and in just over 2 ½ years all 558 lots over 11 stages have been developed.

Over 95% of the lots at Seachange Estate are now sold so it is not only the civil contractors who have been busy but the selling agents as well.

Trevor McManus from Neville Richards real estate said that the few lots which remain have been selling quite quickly.

“We have probably sold around 20 lots in the last couple of months, many to local Geelong based people.

“We are expecting a huge increase in that demand when Melbournians are allowed back into regional Victoria once COVID restrictions are further eased,” Mr McManus said.

Three time Victorian Award Winning Developer Ross Closter from Urban Land Developments agrees that since the 2nd lockdown in Melbourne they have had significant interest from those looking to escape Melbourne.

“Once the ‘ring of steel’ is removed there will be an exodus to the coast like no other as those from metro areas look to make their own Seachange,” Mr Closter said.

“Working from home at least a few days a week is here to stay and what better place to do this from than the beautiful Bellarine.”

Seachange Estate has blocks from only $199,950, is well located close to the beach, and has magnificent palm tree lined entries along with over 7 acres of wetlands.

A new park coming in early 2021 will feature ½ basketball court, AFL and soccer goals and kick around areas, multi aged playground with whirl swing and flying fox.

Mr Closter says that it’s not just the main entry where they have focused their landscaping efforts.

“Every street has recently been planted with huge ornamental trees more than 3 times larger than most developments turning streets into beautiful streetscapes.”

All remaining lots left at Seachange are titled and ready to build on which is important for those looking to take advantage of the federal government $25,000 Home Builder Grant that has strict cut off times for commencing construction.
