Villawood’s Estuary release a rare peninsula opportunity

January 13, 2022 BY

Villawood's top-line Estuary product is a rare opportunity and one of the last remaining offers in the Leopold/Bellarine Peninsula area.

A new land release by leading national developer Villawood Properties at its Leopold Estuary community is expected to draw an excited response from buyers vying for quality stock in the hugely popular Geelong market.

Premium land is becoming harder and harder to secure within the Geelong region, which is the hottest growth corridor in the country outside the Gold Coast.

Villawood’s top-line Estuary product is a rare opportunity and one of the last remaining offers in the Leopold/Bellarine Peninsula area.

The 200-lot Estuary II community follows the extraordinary performance of Villawood’s initial 650-lot Estuary development, launched in 2011, and which sold out in four years, a full five years ahead of expectations.

The new Estuary offers loads of different-sized lots, landscaped with sculptural art and lush foliage, extensive open space, playground, large established trees, walkways linking other areas and the Ash Road shops.

Nearby Lake Connewarre lets you walk, canoe, bird-watch, wander among seagrass meadows or take the kids cycling along its riverine trails.
The extensive Gateway Plaza, with its Bunnings and numerous specialty stores, is just a few minutes drive away.

The project has drawn significant anticipation, including many offspring of original Estuary residents, looking to continue living at Leopold.

They’re replicating the journey of those early buyers, many of whom were also local buyers looking for a quality estate and community within Leopold without having to move into Geelong.

Many moved to Leopold as first home buyers in the 1970s, ’80s and ’90s.

The initial Estuary is home to more than 1500 residents, who enjoy an enviable lifestyle just a short drive from the Bellarine’s best beaches and only 10 kilometres from Geelong’s CBD.

With titles now being delivered for Estuary II lots, new homes will soon be rising and the estate joining Melaleuca Road to Ash Road.
