This is also your chance to catch the Museum’s spectacular Art of Surfing exhibition which closes to the public very soon.

The exhibition celebrates and explores the stories, work and techniques of three outstanding 1970s Australian surfboard artists.

The display features dazzling examples of their work and tells the story of how their legacy has inspired contemporary artists to carry that creative torch forward, to continue the tradition of original surf art.

Exhibits showcase the evolution of surfing from its origins to the global phenomena it is today.

 

Again, the kids are included in the fun with their own opportunity to design and colour their surfboard at the interactive digital design table. The Art of Surfing exhibition runs at the Australian National Surfing Museum until the end of July 2023.
