CURLEWIS GOLF CLUB – September 5, 2019
It was another exciting week here at Curlewis with the new 9th green opening on Tuesday. The hole seems to have already been a topic of discussion between members throughout the week as the hole gives the golfer plenty of ways it can be played! A short enticing par 4 that provides the opportunity for risk/reward golf. Off the tee you can either bomb a driver and get close to the green as possible or play back into the heart of the fairway for safety. The approach to the green is uphill and the is surrounded by some nasty bunkers that will grab any wayward shots into the green. If you manage to get safely on the green in two your work is not done there. A heavily contoured green will for sure cause some heartbreak to those who are above the hole.
We welcome both members and visitors to come out and play the exciting new hole.
