GEELONG West Football Club has secured a new naming rights partner, signing a deal with local environmental consultancy Scaada.

West Oval will now be known as Scaada Stadium, marking a new chapter for the Giants and linking two organisations committed to community, sustainability and long-term positive impact.

Based in Geelong, Scaada works across environmental management, occupational hygiene and project management, delivering practical solutions for organisations nationwide.

Giants vice-chair Ben Rowe said the partnership reflected shared values.

“To welcome Scaada as our ground naming rights partner is a significant moment for our club,” he said.

“This is a partnership built on shared values, community, growth and a commitment to doing things the right way.

“Having a respected, locally based company like Scaada invest in our club speaks volumes about the direction we’re heading.”

Scaada executive director Dale Smith, who also coaches the club’s A Grade netball side, said the partnership was a natural fit.

“We are proud to partner with the Geelong West Giants, a club that plays such an important role in bringing people together and building a strong, connected community,” he said.

“Supporting local sport is something we are passionate about, and we’re excited to see Scaada Stadium become a hub for community activity, development and success.”

The ground’s new name was unveiled last weekend during matches against Bell Post Hill and Leopold.
