NetSetGo is on the go

TORQUAY Netball Club have started their term four NetSetGo program for youngsters interested in the sport.

NetSetGo is Australia’s official netball starter program, aimed at children aged five to 10.

Torquay Netball Club NetSetGo co-ordinator Julie Lewis said people were welcome to join the program at any time.

“It’s open if anyone new wants to come, at any time they can join. We always seem to have girls trying out.”

Torquay Netball Club has been able to run the program into term four due to its recent popularity, with about 30 players taking part in each session.

The program gives them a chance to learn the basics of netball and make friends in a fun and social environment.

It is broken up into three different stages: Net, Set and Go. The participants are divided into depending on their age and experience.

Sessions will take place throughout term four at 4.15pm on Tuesdays.
