Wednesday August 14 – Stableford Medley (Blue & Red Tees) Winter Classic Rd 10

Great to see members get back out on the course for the 10th round of the classic. It was tough on a wet track and the competition tees were changed from blue to white. That played right into the hands of Peter Caust (16) who played some solid golf and blitzed the field with a great score of 40 Stableford points. Dick Hammett (7) was pumped up before the round with his powercaddy took advantage of his playing partner not being in the field, coming in second on 37 points on c/b he now takes the lead in the classic on 6450 points from David Mallett (1) 420 points behind.

The morning field had mild conditions today, then the rain came in the afternoon.  Our winner today was, Rob Elphinstone [16] with 36 points, followed my Phil Purdy [30] with 34 points. DSR: 74.0
