Wednesday August 21 – Stableford Medley (Blue and Red Tees) Winter Classic Rd 11. Round 11 of the Winter Classic saw some large scores posted. Paul Martonhelyi  finished the day in pole position, scoring a whopping 40 points! Runner up went to Rodger Licheni  on 37 points, with Roger Bain  rounding out the podium on 35 points. The ball pool ran down the line to 33 points, with first place getter Paul Martonhelyi (5th hole, 5.00m) and Stephen Sutcliffe (13th hole, 3.03m) taking home prizes for nearest to pins.
Thursday August 22 – 3 Person Ambrose (Red Tees). 3 Person Ambrose off the Red Tees for the Womens competition today, which was a nice change up. Team Hales, Browne and Muller top scored with a score of 68.167. Team Trevena, Whitnall and Swain were the runners up on 69.667. The nearest to pins went to Wendy Muller (5th hole) and Judi Bullock (13th hole).
Saturday August 24 – Men’s Individual and 2 Person Aggregate Stableford– (Blue Tees) Women’s Individual and 2 Person Aggregate Stableford – (Red Tees). Beautiful morning for golf, with the sun shining and wind blowing. Afternoon golfers had it tough, as the winds picked up and the rain started to fall. In A Grade, Rob Danby , fuelled by his morning Carmen’s Bar and Purple Powerade ritual, took out top spot and the highest score of the day. 36 points. Luke Muller  was close behind on 35 points. B Grade saw a c/b result, with John Girling  pipping Gavin Saunders  on 34 points. C Grade saw Tim Freer  just outlast Neil Trevena , finishing on 29 points to Neil’s 28 points. The ball pool ran down the line to 32 points, with Paul Sexton (5th hole, 1.43m), Paul Beighton (13th hole, 0.52m) and Luke Muller (17th hole, 1.30m) taking home the nearest to pins. A massive congratulations to visitor Michael Roche who managed a hole-in-one on the Par 3 7th hole! Great stuff!
In the additional 2 Person Aggregate competition, Luke Muller and Travis Agg had the highest combined score of 69 points.
In the Women’s competition, Marg Hales  continued her run of hot form, finishing in 1st place on 35 points. Maggie Juniper  was the runner up for the day on 34 points. The ball pool ran down the line to 32 points, with Paulette Payne taking home the nearest to pin on the 7th hole (2.40m). And, would you believe it, we had another hole-in-one today! Christine Brackin managed to ace the Par 3 13th! Amazing effort!
In the additional 2 Person Aggregate competition, Marg Hales and Sharpshooter Brackin blitzed the field, combining for highest score of 64 points.
Sunday August 25 – Stableford Medley (Blue and Red Tees). Chilly morning but the sun came out and removed some of the bite that the wind had. The medley winner was Damiem Moloney (18), on 37 points, followed by runner up Brenton McDonald (4), on 35 points.
