A window to the wild

THE world-renowned exhibition on loan from the Natural History Museum in London is now on display at the National Wool Museum.

Featuring remarkable animal behaviour, striking species and the breathtaking diversity of the natural world, the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition harnesses photography’s unique emotional power to captivate and inspire.

Each image reveals stories from across the globe, shining a light on the beauty and fragility of our planet while encouraging a deeper commitment to its protection.

 

The Wildlife Photographer of the Year is the most prestigious competition of its kind, showcasing the world’s leading nature photography talent for more than 60 years.

Launched in 1965, it now attracts entries from photographers in 95 countries, a testament to its enduring appeal.

The exhibition is open daily between 10am and 5pm until 17 May.

Admission is included with museum entry. Museum members can view the exhibition for free.
