Heathdale Christian College: Following God’s call to provide Christian education for over 40 years
HEATHDALE Christian College’s Melton campus is now a thriving Prep to Year 12 learning community, providing families with the confidence of continuity and care through every stage of schooling.
Our Christian faith is the foundation for everything we do, and we believe that every child is uniquely created by God, deeply known and loved. Our faith and approach to learning are woven together, encouraging students to think deeply, act with compassion and grow in their God-given identity.
Our students are supported by experienced teachers within a strong pastoral framework, ensuring that our well-rounded academic pathways and co-curricular opportunities are backed by genuine care for wellbeing. Knowing our students well and supporting them in ways that nurture both their academic excellence and personal wellbeing is something we strive to do every day.
We help to cultivate a strong sense of safety and belonging through regular opportunities for students and staff to connect across year levels in positive, supervised settings. One example of this is our weekly Activity Afternoon program for students in Years 3-12, where students are encouraged to try something new – ranging from gardening, public speaking and embroidery to playing in a rock band, running and more. This shared experience helps to build confidence and support a sense of being known in community.

Our varied House events span sporting, academic and creative pursuits – including swimming and athletics carnivals, eSports, public speaking, general knowledge, spelling bees and our much-anticipated annual talent show – ensuring every student has opportunities to contribute and be celebrated.
Our commitment to connection and community is also reflected in our interschool sports program, where students train and compete in sports such as volleyball, ultimate frisbee, netball, basketball and more.
Our secondary students are further supported through diverse opportunities in creative and performing arts, leadership development, service initiatives, school camps and excursions. These experiences help students explore their interests and grow in their understanding of how their gifts can be used to serve others and honour God.
We recognise parents as the primary educators of their children and strive to partner closely with them throughout every stage of schooling, as students navigate important academic, social and personal milestones.
As our learning community continues to grow, Heathdale Christian College remains committed to providing high-quality, authentic Christian education that equips young people for life beyond school.
Families considering enrolment are warmly invited to experience our Melton campus community firsthand through a school tour or at our upcoming Open Day on Tuesday 12 May.
