Local favourite marks first birthday

Anderson’s Supermarket at APCO Mt Duneed will celebrate its first birthday this week with a community event featuring giveaways, food tastings and family activities.

The celebrations will take place on Friday 24 July, from 3pm to 5pm, with customers invited to join in a range of activities including product giveaways, birthday cake and in-store specials.

Since opening a year ago, the store has combined supermarket shopping with a service station, offering groceries, fresh food, barista-made coffee and fuel from the one location.

APCO director Robert Anderson said bringing the Anderson’s Supermarket brand to Mt Duneed had been an important milestone for the family business.

“Bringing the Anderson name further into the business as our supermarket brand has been a proud milestone for our family,” he said.

“It’s a reflection of where APCO is heading and our commitment to offering customers genuine value, quality products and the friendly service we’re known for.

“We’re excited to celebrate our first birthday with the community who have embraced Anderson’s Supermarket from day one. We look forward to welcoming everyone in-store.”

The birthday event will also feature a Spin & Win prize wheel, food tastings, product activations and a week of grocery specials.
