KANGAROO Flat faces a crucial test in Saturday’s eleventh round of premier division bowls in the Bendigo Campaspe Goldfields weekend pennant.

The Roos will be home in Station Street to take on the ladder-leading Bendigo from 1.30pm.

It’s a crucial contest between fourth and first.

When these clubs last met it was Bendigo which won by 29 shots.

Kangaroo Flat rolls into this round on a tally of 106 points and plus 96 shots.

In pursuit of back-to-back premierships, Bendigo leads the race on 134 points and +139 shots.

Both clubs marked great wins in last Sunday’s play at South Bendigo.

All four Division One matches were played at the one venue on Charity Day to support groups in the Cancer fundraising network.

The Roos beat Golden Square by 31 shots as Bendigo marked a 32-shot victory against Eaglehawk.

Round 11 began on Thursday as South Bendigo met Bendigo East under lights in a clash between third and fifth.

In other matches on Saturday, Inglewood is at home to play Golden Square, and Moama hosts Eaglehawk.

The Woodies and Bulldogs will be desperate to bounce back after big defeats while it a tough task for the Hawks on the Steamers greens at Moama.
