Sarah’s work is centred around supporting women to feel their best at every stage of life.
Sarah is an Australian Physiotherapy Association Titled Women’s, Men’s and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist with a special interest in providing clinical care for women navigating the physical changes that come with adolescence, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, perimenopause and beyond. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based practice, but equally in meeting each woman where she is—offering care that feels supportive, clear, and practical to apply in real life.
At Embody Women’s Health, the focus is on treating the whole person, not just a condition or a body part.
Sarah offers pelvic health physiotherapy for women across the lifespan — assessment and treatment of persistent pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, perinatal care, perimenopausal care, bladder and bowel troubles and associated broader body issues.
Over the years, Sarah has come to see that while clinical care is essential, it’s only one piece of the picture. Many women are given information or treatment plans, but still feel unsure in their bodies, disconnected from movement, or isolated in what they’re experiencing.
That understanding has shaped how her work has evolved.
Alongside one-on-one pelvic health physiotherapy, she’s created spaces that extend beyond the treatment room—spaces that offer continuity, context, and connection.
Birthed: Antenatal Learning is one of those spaces. It’s an antenatal education programme in collaboration with Hannah Milstead, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Neuroprotective Developmental Care (Possums) Practitioner, designed to support women and their partners as they prepare for birth and early parenthood.
Together, we focus not just on the physical aspects of birth, but also on preparing the mind, understanding the process, and building confidence in what can often feel like an unknown experience. It’s about giving people the tools, knowledge, and reassurance to move into that season feeling more informed and supported.

Move + Meet
is another extension of this work. These sessions, in collaboration with Taegan Partington, bring women together through gentle, considered movement—alongside opportunities for connection.
Whether it’s a mat-based class or a simple walk, the intention is the same: to create an environment where women can rebuild strength, move in ways that feel good, and be alongside others navigating similar stages of life. Because movement doesn’t need to be intense or complicated to be effective.
Often, the most valuable thing is finding something that feels sustainable and actually fits into your life.
Across everything offered through Embody, the approach remains consistent.
Care that is practical. Evidence-based. And grounded in respect for each woman’s lived experience.
Working in Mount Gambier, Sarah feel a strong sense of responsibility to provide services that are not only clinically sound, but genuinely supportive of the community. There is a real opportunity in regional practice to create care that feels more connected—where women feel known, understood, and supported over time.
Ultimately, she sees her role as to help women feel more comfortable, capable, and at home in their bodies. That’s what underpins the clinical care she provide, and it’s what continues to shape the spaces she creates through Embody.
