RACV Torquay Resort lauded by TripAdvisor

RACV Torquay Resort has been listed among Australia’s best hotels in only its second full year of operation.

The resort was ranked in the Top 25 Hotels and in the Top 25 Luxury Hotels categories in TripAdvisor’s 2016 Travellers’ Choice Awards, based on the reviews of guests who posted comments on the TripAdvisor website.

“There are absolutely ‘no’ negatives about this resort,” one reviewer wrote in December.

“The rooms are huge, some have balconies and some have windows only, but all have views over the gorgeous golf course and away to the ocean… lovely lounges, exceptional staff, good restaurants and an expansive breakfast menu round this place out.”

RACV Torquay Resort manager Dean Newell said 94 per cent of reviewers rated the resort as either “excellent” or “very good”. “The total experience of high-quality facilities and the Surf Coast environment attract many members and guests but it is the service that sets RACV Torquay Resort apart.

“Guests appreciate the interaction with staff and the TripAdvisor awards recognise the service provided by our fantastic resort team.”

He said the property’s scale, choice of quality amenities and its location enabled the resort to cater for the diverse needs of RACV’s members and guests.

The 92-room RACV Torquay Resort opened in June 2013 and also is home to Torquay Golf Club.
