Dan the new man for K rock Geelong

K ROCK 95.5 Geelong continues to attract radio’s best and brightest, with the announcement that Fox FM Melbourne music director and operations manager Dan Hill will take over the sought-after role of K rock content director from June 3.

Named one of Music Networks’ 2018 Most Influential Music Minds and a self-confessed “radio nerd”, Dan joins K rock with a wealth of experience and a great reputation.

From Melbourne to the Gold Coast, Newcastle to Shepparton, Dan has done some kilometres, and along the way he has picked up a couple of the industry’s national ACRA awards.

K rock general manager Andy Mathers said Dan was a great new addition to the team.

“Dan’s CV reads like someone twice his age. He is a super talented young guy and thoroughly deserves his shot.

“I have no doubt Dan will be a wonderful addition to the K rock family and we’re looking forward to working with him.”

Dan said he was thrilled to be joining the K rock family.

“I grew up down the road, not far from Geelong, and used to listen to K rock when I was a kid. To be leading a dream station is completely surreal – I’m totally ready for the challenge.”
