Victoria Police to discuss crime, other issues at Torquay forum

VICTORIA Police will host a community forum in Torquay next week and are inviting Surf Coast residents to attend and share insights into the issues that are important to them.

The Neighbourhood Policing Forum will be run by a panel of Victoria Police personnel and will explore a variety of topics including:

  • Existing crime trends and crime prevention
  • Young people
  • Family violence
  • Road policing, and
  • Drugs and drug-related crime

Those in attendance are welcome to ask questions throughout the event, and questions can also be submitted before the event.

Community members must register to attend the forum and can do so by sending their details to [email protected] or by scanning the QR code above.

Refreshments will be provided, and attendees are encouraged to include any dietary requirements in their registration.

The forum will be held at the Torquay Surf Lifesaving Club, Surf Beach Drive, Torquay on Thursday, March 14 between 9.30am-12.30pm.
