New home for WHR Allied Health

WHR Allied Health are now providing clinic-based Occupational Therapy support in Torquay.

The business was born in Jan Juc in 2013 through the efforts of husband and wife Occupational Therapists Brad and Zoe Dent.

Their relocation from Surf City Plaza to Baines Crescent has enabled them to complete a custom fit-out of the clinic for their paediatric and adolescent Occupational Therapy clients.

WHR Allied Health providing National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Medicare and privately funded Occupational Therapy, Therapy Assistant and Physiotherapy supports across the Surf Coast, Geelong and Bellarine.

The business has been running self/plan managed NDIS supports for more than three years, and has been registered with the NDIS for more than seven years.

Ranked as one of the ‘Top Ten Best Places to Work’ by the Australian Financial Review in 2021, WHR Allied Health is focused on staff engaging in emerging areas of evidence-based practice, with most staff completing about 100 hours of professional development each year.

Group programs such as Sex and relationships 16+ and Secret Agent Society are run out of the Torquay office.

WHR Allied Health is also connected to the community, being major sponsors of the Rip Curl Community Cup and Spare Meals Geelong.
