100 dawns daily practice and fundraiser

March 3, 2016 BY

TUESDAY, February 23 gifted a stunning sunrise and magical empty surf to begin my 100 Dawns daily meditation practice and fundraiser for beyondblue.

While weather and wave conditions change dawn steadily deepened due to the incredible beauty of our local coastline and the melodic resonance of the predawn ocean, which like a lullaby, drifts one gently in to meditation.

Often we begin new projects or goals with a big wave of momentum then the initial enthusiasm may waver and even come to a standstill over time.

However, by allowing the surrounding nature to beginnings to a project, a day or a moment with a sense process of goal achievement.

A natural sense of calm has infused the beginning of my 100 Dawns daily practice, with the below sentiments Gentleness The air was still, the clouds moved slowly and the waves rumbled peacefully this morning and by embodying this energy of gentleness, I experienced a sense of healing healing and happiness in your day too.

Solitude with self, like a single breaking wave, we remain purely connected with the vast ocean of life. Compassion However we feel, However we be, So acceptingly.

calm and grace. Local performance psychologist and author Rich Bennett has set himself a challenge designed to help the millions of Australians affected by depression and anxiety and fundraise for beyondblue. Bennett said he promoted the value of taking care of mental health on a daily basis. As part of this, Bennett has set himself the “100 Dawns” challenge, in which he will meditate on the beach before dawn then enter the ocean in time for sunrise for 100 dawns in a row.
