Congratulations to Ben Coyle, Keith Hornibrook and Terry Hope who scored an impressive aggregate win in the Sovereign Financial Monthly Triples.
The annual Ron Leeman Lions Charity Day saw a good roll out of bowlers – raising over $1200 for Parkinson’s Research and Camp Quality. Terry Hope, Merle Wapling, Lindsay Reeve and Estie Wines took out the honours.
Anglesea defeated the Allies in the Sirovilla RSL Invitation Day with the help of Peter Gordon, Trish Ryan and Sue Rolls who turned in the best score of the day.
Recent social bowls winners included Everett Greeves, Stephen Ross, Trish Ryan, John Archer, Ian Winchester, Rob Dwyer and Rob Miner.
Easter at the Anglesea has been a hectic scene, with many holiday makers enjoying the bowls and hospitality of the Club. Many thanks are due to all those club volunteers who put in the work looking after the visitors.
The final members draw for the season is on Friday, April 26 – members need to be there to win it.
Anglesea Family Caravan Park are sponsoring afternoon social bowls at 12.30pm on ANZAC Day and Club members are reminded the Annual General Meeting is at 3pm preceded by social bowls at 10.30am and the Presentation Dinner at 6pm at the club.
Anyone wanting to try bowls is most welcome to contact the Club.
Regular Bowls: Mondays (12.30pm) and Saturdays (1pm). Match is open for entries on the day until 11am by noticeboard entry, phone or email.
Casual Bowls: Open for members anytime; public bookings welcome.
Friday Social: Afternoon Practice. Happy Hour, Raffle, Members Draw and Meals from 5pm.
