BANDITS have booked their place in the Mount Gambier Softball League grand final after a strong 10–3 victory over Wanderers in the preliminary final at Blue Lake Sports Park on Saturday.

Bandits came out swinging early, putting pressure on the scoreboard from the opening innings and building a steady lead through the middle of the game.

Timely hitting and aggressive base running allowed them to capitalise on scoring opportunities and keep the momentum firmly in their favour.

Wanderers showed plenty of fight throughout the contest, creating chances and working hard offensively but the Bandits defence held firm and limited the damage in key moments.

Across the diamond, Bandits combined solid fielding with clutch hits to extend their lead and ultimately close out the game, finishing with 10 runs to Wanderers 3.

Despite the result, Wanderers can hold their heads high after a strong season and competitive finals campaign.

Bandits now move on to the grand final, where they will look to carry this form into the final showdown of the season when they take on Demons.
