Dan does it again

ANOTHER year, another Dan Day victory at the Trident Tyre Centre Legend of the Lakes Hill Climb at the weekend.

Legendary almost doesn’t do justice to the way Day, in his 2013 Subaru STI, as dominated the event with the weekend’s victory making it 10 consecutive wins.

More than 150 competitors took on Day and the difficult weather conditions but he still reigned supreme with a time of 48.85 seconds.

The weekend’s event was the 20th anniversary running of the popular hill climb and Day (pictured above – Photo courtesy of Bosch Motorsport Australia) now holds half the available titles, with local Peter Gazzard, who dominated the early years of the event the other significant name on the event’s honour board.
