Drew & Grosvenor combine for victory

LAST week, in perfect bowling weather, 28 players took part in the 2-4-2 game at the Millicent Bowling Club.

Coming first and winning the $28 cash prize each were John Drew and Orr Grosvenor with a score of 34+21.

Second place, with a score of 33+16, was the tam of Brian Goode and Peter Hyland winning the $5 Bar Voucher each.

Other winning teams for the day were, Steve Skeer, Peter Scanlon 33+13. Barry Smith, David Taylor 32+8. Garth Baker, John Silis 31+4. Frank Cooper, Andre Reinders 30+4 and Lurlene Reinders, Eddie Hann 30+1.

Players were also reminded of the Ladies’ and Men’s Championship Fours to be played on January 3 and 4, with the Men’s and Ladies Singles Championship on January 11 and the Herb Henderson Memorial Fours to be played on January 26.
