First club championship run & done

THE Millicent Bowls Club held their Annual Championship Triples for Men and Ladies earlier this month.

All games leading up to the grand final were played over 12 ends and the grand final over 18 ends.

The teams of Lyn Scudds, Mary Campbell and Ros Varcoe and Sarah Ross, Elaine Goode and Joy Warren won through to the ladies decider.

The Scudds team, won 12 of the 18 ends and the title of Triples Champions for 2025/26 Season.

In the Men’s, the Grand Final came down to the teams of Kym Stewart, Jim Campbell and John John Scudds against the reigning Triples Champions, Iain Campbell, Rod Gibbs and John Buhlmann.

This game was a very close until the 11th end then the reigning champions broke away to win back to back titles of Triples Champions for 2025/26 Season.
