Heaver on fire on return

THIRTY-four ladies played in beautiful Autumn weather on May 13 which also helped with some great scores in the Jan Shanahan sponsored stableford competition at the Mount Gambier Golf Club and overall there were 11 birdies scored on the day.

RESULTS

Div 1:

Winner: Helen Heaver recently back from her holiday with a great round of 39 points which included 3 birdies on the 3rd, 12th and 16th holes.

Runner Up: Janina Morrison who has also recently returned from her holiday with 37 points on a count back from Faye Mainwaring. Janina had a great back nine with 3 pars and a birdie on the 18th.

Div 2:

Winner: Deb Fowler with 39 points. Deb also had a good back nine scoring 22 points.

Runner Up: Jane Lamont 35 points on a count back from Chris Morrison.

Seventeen ladies played a par round, sponsored by Peter Dempsey @ Realty, with the morning golfers certainly having the better weather on the day with some very heavy rain in the afternoon.

RESULTS

Winner: Jennifer Van Rijthoven with a great score of plus 1 which included 3 birdies, 8th, 9th & the 17th Holes. Jennifer who plays of 11 was plus 3 after the first nine.

Runner Up: Helen McIntyre 1 down on a count back from Mardi Goodes.
