From the Mat – April 18, 2019

April 18, 2019 BY

ALTHOUGH the regular bowls season has closed, a bustling crowd of big-hearted, benevolent bowlers basked in the beautiful sunshine at the recent Freemasons’ Charity Bowls Event. Thousands of dollars were raised for the many causes that the Great Ocean Road Lodge supports throughout the year and an excellent day was had by all.

With Easter fast approaching, the Torquay Bowls Club bar and bistro will be a welcome place to dodge the crowds of holiday makers and take in the best views in Torquay. The Clubhouse will be open right throughout the long weekend so come down and enjoy a drink or a meal, you’re all welcome.
