New face join board

REGIONAL Development Australia Limestone Coast (RDALC) has announced the appointment of two new board members, Nathaniel Modra and Jeff Stricklin, bringing a wealth of experience in agribusiness, governance, regional leadership and community development to the organisation.

RDALC chair Robyn Verrall said the appointments further strengthen the board’s commitment to driving economic growth, investment and opportunity across the Limestone Coast.

“Nathaniel and Jeff each bring outstanding leadership experience and a genuine commitment to our region,” Ms Verrall said. “Their diverse backgrounds and expertise will complement our existing board and help guide the future direction of Regional Development Australia Limestone Coast.”

Nathaniel Modra is an agribusiness consultant, company director and business owner with extensive experience across agriculture, project management and regional leadership.

A graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Nathaniel has built a strong reputation for supporting farm businesses through strategic advisory services, benchmarking and sustainable business performance.

He also contributes to a number of industry organisations, including the MacKillop Farm Management Group, South Australian Livestock Consultants and SA Country Shows.

Jeff Stricklin joins the Board with more than three decades of executive leadership experience spanning emergency services, local government and the disability sector.

As regional manager for the Limestone Coast with Cara, Jeff oversees disability support services across the region and brings significant expertise in governance, risk management, stakeholder engagement and community service delivery.

He has also held senior emergency management and fire chief roles in the United States before making the Limestone Coast home.

Ms Verrall said both appointments reflect RDALC’s focus on bringing together a broad range of skills and perspectives to support regional prosperity.

“Regional development is strongest when it is informed by people with practical experience across business, agriculture, community services and governance,” she said. “Nathaniel and Jeff each bring fresh perspectives, strong professional networks and a passion for ensuring the Limestone Coast continues to thrive.”

The appointments come as RDALC expands its role in the region, including recently assuming responsibility as the Limestone Coast’s Regional Tourism Organisation, while continuing to work with government, industry and community partners to deliver opportunities for economic growth, workforce development, investment attraction and regional resilience.

The Board looks forward to the valuable contribution both members will make as RDALC continues to support the Limestone Coast’s future.
